Large Northwest Airlines Airbus A320 desktop/display model finished in Northwest\'s classic gray, red, white and blue “Bowling Shoe” livery. The underside of the wooden display stand retains its original Canary Aviation / Samuel T. Girgis, Addison, Texas maker label. The label identifies Canary Aviation as specializing in handmade/hand-painted aviation wood products, including civilian and commercial aircraft.
This is a large-scale collector/display model measuring approximately: Length: 17 inches nose-to-tail & Wingspan: 15.5 inches wingtip-to-wingtip. The approximately 1:87 scale is calculated from the measured dimensions of this model compared with the dimensions of the full-size Airbus A320; the original manufacturer label does not state a scale. Includes the pictured curved metal display support and wooden Northwest Airlines display base, which is marked “A-320 ‘Airbus’.”
CONDITION: Pre-owned and in overall excellent displayed condition. No known broken parts, structural damage or previous repairs. Paint, markings, aircraft and stand present very well. Please examine all photographs carefully for exact cosmetic condition. I am not the original owner. I acquired this model approximately 2001–2002. No original box or packaging is included. This is being offered as a large collector/display model, not as a toy. Underside: Features a single clean mounting hole that securely attaches the model to the metal arm.
SHIPPING: The aircraft and stand will be carefully packed for shipment with particular protection given to the wings, wingtip fences, engines, horizontal stabilizers, vertical tail and display stand. Tracking will be provided.
