Airframe History:Delivered to the Fleet Air Arm in 1947. Transferred to Hawker Siddeley in 1960 and restored to airworthy condition for the Royal Navy Historic Flight a decade later. Tragically destroyed in 1989 when it was forced to ditch off the Prestwick coast following a hydraulic failure when the starboard undercarriage leg failed to lock down.
