1940-1950 Built on Honor by Beechcraft Hartzel Propeller.
1940-1950 Hartzell Propeller Inc partnered with Beechcraft to supply laminated wood propellers for early post-WWII civil aircraft. The most famous application was on the Beechcraft Model 35 Bonanza.
The heavy metal base collar is part of the original hub.
No stamps or letters etched can be found.
I believe the base is stainless steel; however, someone painted over it.
There is no restoration that I am aware of to the actually wood propeller.
This is highly collectable and desired by aviation militaria/decor enthusiasts.
This would be an amazing man cave or piece to display.
It is 43\" tall, 7\" wide and 6\" deep. The base is 6\" in diameter.
It belongs to a Hartzel Model HC-12X20 series specifically using H8433 series laminated wood blades
