Fun, rare, collectible silk/poly scarf from Sabena Airlines:
In the 1960s and 1970s, Belgian airline Sabena offered its first class and business class passengers their menus on a printed silk/poly collectible scarf!
- Cream-colored with reinforced pink border
- Pattern includes full drinks (“boissons”) and food menu in French
- Clock numbers in colorful roman numerals
- Golden striated Zodiac signs between the roman numerals for their corresponding months
- N/S/E/O Compass Letters (Nord-Sud-Est-Ouest in French)
- Whimsical blue & pink lines
- Measures 25” x 25”
- Fabric: there are no tags, but this feels like a polyester-silk blend, which would have been standard for the 1960s/1970s
