Originally manufactured in 1997, this model has been out of circulation for many years and is a highly sought aftercollectors item for both classic Chevrolet and Harley-Davidson enthusiast. It is modeled after the 1955 Chevy 3100 delivery trucks from the first Harley-Davidson dealership in the USA, Dudley Perkins Harley-Davidson in San Francisco, CA.
This 1955 Chevrolet 3100 pickup truck is part of The American Giants Pickup Collection produced by Matchbox in 1997. The model is decked out in shiny black paint with the Harley-Davidson paint scheme in bold orange, black and white graphics. The iconic Harley-Davidson badge is featured on both doors and the stake bed. It features chrome-like bumpers and front grille. It has all the correct details for a 1955 Chevrolet 3100 pickup service truck with a load of Harley-Davidson parts crates in the rear bed. It measures approximately 4.5 inches long by 1.5 inches in width and height.
