North Central Airline merged with Southern and Hughes Air West to form Republic Airline and Republic Airline eventually merged with Northwest Airlines. This nice pin isoffered bythe NWA HISTORY CENTRE. The NWA HISTORY CENTRE (a non profit organization) is located in Bloomington, Mn. They have preservedNorthwest Airlinesmemorbillia and display it in their museum for the public to view. The NWA HISTORY CENTRE has many historical items as far back as Oct.1, 1926 when NORTHWEST AIRLINES was founded by Col. Louis H. Brittin.
The NWA NISTORY CENTRE also has many itemsfrom the 13 airlines who combined in later years to make Northwest. Northwest Airlinesmerged with Delta Airlines in 2008. TheHistory Centre occasionally receives duplicate donated itemsand items from other airlines.
