This unique collector box(5.75 x 7.75 x 1.15)pays homage to the one of the most legendary aircraft carriers in United State history... the CVN-65. Not only was she the world's first nuclear powered carrier, she was also one of the biggest vessels launched. The ships iconic design with its angled flight deck and steam catapults, made it capable of launching and recovering aircraft with ease. Throughout its illustrious career, the USS Enterprise played a pivotal role in numerous conflicts and operations, including the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Vietnam War, Operation Desert Storm, and the War on Terror. This handcrafted display features two custom made 3D resin models of this CVN-65 - a profile view and a top view. The shadow box has a glass front.
