This sale is for one beautiful Lockheed P38 Lightning WWII fighter propeller blade. An original Curtiss Electric propeller blade used on the famous Lockheed Lightning. This blade has some corrosion on the very bottom of the butt of the blade which makes this blade non airworthy.
Those spots of corrosion can not be seen in the display as they are at the bottom of the blade only and hidden in this steel base that was welded from part of the propeller hub. The base is gloss black powder coated , or you can have grey satin powder coated base pictured , your choice.
The blade stand almost 6 ft tall in the base and is mirror finished solid aluminum weighing 65 pounds. The steel base weighs 45 pounds. The blade and base will be shipped separately. You can add a decal to the base as shown. The shipping UPS ground will be calculated for the blade only in this post . I will send you an invoice for the base shipping cost at time of purchase.
I will determine exact shipping cost once I have your address and can do the calculation. Last polished blade in my collection and it makes an awesome historical display. Pick up is ok of course and will deliver for expenses.
