Patent number 3,140,623 was issued in August1961, so I am dating this unit 1961 – 1978.The unit was tested at 50 ft-lbs and 75 ft-lbs. Please see the pics, the unit is well withinaccepted tolerances. At 50 ft-lbs, gage reads 51.0 ft lbsAt 75 ft-lbs, gage reads 76.8 ft lbsThe digital gage I used to test the unit with waschecked and verified to be accurate within +/1% by a professional metrologylab.
