I cannot guarantee that light bulb filamentswill survive the jarring and vibration of shipping. If I list them as working,they were truly tested before packing to insure wiring was intact and the bulbswere OK. I also do not guarantee that modern smoke units will survive shipping.I have come to learn that if any liquid leaks out onto the electronic boards,it will short the resistor easily. As packages are turned upside down and onend during shipping, this can happen with the smoke units. Postwar and Seutheunits do not seem to have the issue. Most will survive shipping.
It isvirtually impossible to list every detail, paint nick or scratch of a usedtrain or accessory completely in the text description. And, I may misssomething that you see. I try to be accurate but always study the photos andask questions before you buy. I do not intentionally fail to mention somethingbut there are times when something I consider insignificant is notinsignificant to you. If it is shown in the photos, consider it part of thedescription. I do not guarantee that the filaments in the light bulbs willsurvive the jarring and vibration of mail or shipping. I do test them and ifthey are listed as working, they were when they were packed and you will knowthe wiring is intact but I will not send replacement bulbs should they bedamaged in shipping.
If youare buying used toys, you must accept that they are not new. If you wantsomething that is perfect, new, has a manufacturer’s warranty for operation –please buy from a retail dealer who can offer you these guarantees. I cannot.

Combining sales let me shipmuch more affordably. Just let me know with an email BEFORE you pay for acompleted sale that you are watching another sale and what that item is.I will hold the items and combine into a single shipment even if they are daysor up to a week apart. I will adjust your invoice to show the new shippingamount once the later sale is complete. Items shipping in flat rate boxesmay not be able to be combined to save you money and some items would not besmart to combine into a single box, such as a heavy transformer and a delicateaccessory.
If you want the combinedshipping discount, you must wait until I send a corrected invoice. I will nolonger give partial refunds on shipping after you have paid as it has becometoo cumbersome to track the partial refunds to the satisfaction of the IRS whosees the total gross income from sales including shipping from Paypal. Paypaldoes not deduct to refunds. They all must be tracked in a format the IRS willaccept.

I have had some bad experiences withunscrupulous people buying items and switching out parts or returning identicalitems in lesser condition for refund. To avoid conflict, any item I list asmint or new will show no sign of wear on the wheels and will either be an itemI purchased new or purchased from a reputable collector. I will not routinelyaccept returns on items sold in mint or new condition unless there was an errorin my listing. I can never guarantee the operation of new items as they havenever been run or tested. Please bear this in mind.
All other items are sold with asatisfaction guarantee unless otherwise stated. Buyers need only contact mewithin 3 days of receipt and if I cannot satisfy their concerns, I will gladlygive a full refund of the purchase price only once the buyer ships the itemback at their own expense. I do not refund the original shipping costs as Iwill not be refunded those dollars from the post office (just the same asAmazon, Newegg, and retailers). If I listed something incorrectly, that wouldbe my mistake and I will pay shipping both ways which is only fair. This doesnot include differences in our grading which is subjective.
