This is a vintage United Airlines wallboard advertising Hawaii. It is a faux wood, faux distressed piece for the collector of United Airlines or Hawaiian memorabilia. It features an image of King Kamehameha.
There are postcards and paper posters and prints of this same artwork but this a thicker, heavier piece that would have been displayed at an airport or travel agency.
In addition to being faux distressed, there are areas of actual wear. There is glue or acrylic? or production material bubbling? on and near the King's nose. The back has a hole in it where it was hung. Also on the back are remnants of tape and damage from tape removal. And when viewed from the side, it is warped towards the top (See photos) but this is not readily visible from the front. There are other signs of wear so please enlarge and inspect the photos.
Even with these imperfections it is a cool piece of Hawaiiana and airline advertising.
