Christofle '' TRANSAT '' model silver plated oval serving tray with the CGT monogram. The tray was designed by Luc Lanel for the SS Normandie and is 17.75 x 13.875 inches. The Christofle trademark is worn off of the tray, but the sale house listing of the lot shows the provenance of the tray as being from the Normandie ( see photo )
