PPC Holland McDonnell Douglas MD11 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines 1:200 Scale RARE For Sale

The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 is a three engine, wide body airliner, developed from the original Douglas DC-10. The DC-10-10 model was a domestic design with a typical range of about 3800 miles. The MD-11 is a "stretched" version of the DC-10, bringing it to a length of 202 feet. It had updated engines, could accommodate up to 298 passengers, and had a range of 7,130 miles. It has a glass flight deck that eliminated the requirement for a flight engineer.
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, founded on 07 October 1919, is the flag carrier airline of the Netherlands. It has its hub at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. It operates domestic and international scheduled flights to over 145 destinations. KLM has over 100 aircraft in service with over 100 on order. The airline had ten MD-11's which were in service from 1993 to 2014.
This aircraft, with registration number PH-KCD, had its first flight in August of 1994. It was delivered to KLM on 16 September 1994. It provided service with KLM until 2014 after which the aircraft was ultimately scrapped (how very sad).
This 1:200 scale, solid resin PPC Holland reproduction of the KLM Airlines MD-11 is a rare, detailed, out of production, and difficult to find model. It requires only minimal assembly. It has beautiful razor sharp KLM graphics from the 1990's to early 2000's. The model is approximately 12.25" long with a 10.25" wingspan. All sales are final.
