The GWR Great Western Railroad used these signal blocks as on and off closing switches. In fine working condition. No parts seem to be missing. The signal Box Block was made by R.E Thompson & Co, Instruments Ltd. in Teddington Middlesex United Kingdom. The box measures 17'' L x 6-3/4'' W x 6-1/2'' H and weights 9.5 Lbs. The brass parts still maintain there sheen. Red enamel paint is in good condition. The housing looks to be Honduras's Mahogany.
