This is a genuine United States stamped First Day Cover postal card commemorating the 50th anniversary of the first non-stop Transpacific Flight from Japan to Washington. The cacheted cover (postal card) features the pilots and their plane with a first day of issue cancellation dated January 2, 1981 in Wenatchee, Washington. The back of the cover has a description of that flight. Please note there is some inking at the top edge of the postal card as shown in both scans.
