1939 Vintage Print Ad for Lockheed Aircraft Corporation:

This is an original black and white magazine ad published in 1939 for the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation with the tag ling: "Airlines the World Over --- Look to Lockheed for Leadership." This page has aged and therefore, the white background has dulled and has a tan tint instead of a bright white background, especially nearer the edges, which hopefully you can see if you enlarge the photo by scanning across the top and left side. Ad contains no stains, wrinkles, folds, or tears and has been trimmed to obtain straight edges in the now8 by 11 inch ad. Ad is considered to be in average condition for a 78 year old ad. My hobby involves trying to collect every car/truck ad every published and in searching for car ads, I find ads are interesting enough that I pull strictly to sell and of course, I sell duplicates from my car ad collection that dates back to 1903. That allows me to purchase additional magazines in pursuit of car/truck ads not already in my collection.
