This is an original World War TwoUSN USMC Grumman FM-2 Wildcat Aircraft Carrier fighter Fuel gauge indicator instrument. It is 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 x 3 inches. The FM-2 Wildcat was made under contract with Grumman by General Motors. This instrument has FM-2 printed on the front of the instrument at the 6 o\'clock position. The Wildcat fighter was the USN and USMC\'s main fighter aircraft at the beginning of WW 2 and saw lots of action in the Battle of Midway and Guadalcanal. This is a nice piece of history.
