This listing is for a rare award of a flag flown on a Lockheed SR971 Blackbird aircraft in 1982 at Mach 3 above 80,000 feet. It was given to an employee of a contracting company called APS that worked on a component of that engine (J58 Engine Support program). The award was framed, but the flag came unglued over time. It could use a re-glue & re-frame. This was acquired in storage locker sale owned by the man that was presented the award. There is wear from age/storage, but overall it looks good!
