This is a beautiful antique Union Switch & Signal Company Teardrop Railroad Crossing Bell Model 15-A in great vintage condition. The Bell is cast iron and the cast iron is not cracked, broken, or split. The Bell cover is still firmly attached to the bell\'s body, the housing is in great shape as well, and the inner components are all still fully intact. The bell is dated 1917 and stamped US &S Co on the front. This is a VERY HEAVY item and it will be double boxed and will be adequately packaged for transit. The bell has all of it original inner components and the bell is still fully functional and is VERY LOUD!! The pole adapter is also included with the bell, and is still attached at the bottom. The bell is in overall great vintage condition, but the bell does display some aged/usage wear including some chips, scuffs, light surface rust ,and scratches, but overall great shape and still fully functional. This is a rare teardrop railroad crossing bell and it is a beautiful antique railroad piece!! Please see photos for full description.
