#85857 Base - Approximately 9\" high bottom to topThis Reflex Signal Lamp \"shines\" by reflecting back the light from the locomotive. Just like reflectors on bicycles. This Lamp does NOT have a light source of its own. Instead there are double reflecting lenses silvered on the back that act as reflectors. The reflections are quite bright for considerable distances at night. NO wiring required.
