Virgin Atlantic 747-400 G-VXLG. Fuselage and engines are made with a 30 side polygon which gives them a real round shape. Features 3D air intake, animated fan blades, illuminated tail logo, landing light "splash" on fuselage, illuminated cabin windows, detailed wings, 3D flaps move as in real life (rotate and slide backwards), 3D moving ailerons, moving spoilers, moving elevators, 3D moving rudder, 3D moving landing gear, turning nose wheel and moving gear doors. Designed by Frank Di Candia, modified by Holger Hellerbrock . Now Rudder is moving, flaps are detailed and the wheels are more realistic. Other features include: re-vised flight dynamics, new Animation sequence, New Pilot virtual cockpit view & Height, detailed winglets, fully moving/animated landing gears, moving fan blades, 3D Engines, ailerons, spoilers, airbrakes and realistic night lighting. It also has the Aircraft Factory 12 pointed fuselage and engines. Vapour trails are also included. Lights can be activated by pressing the "L" Key. Virgin Atlantic 747-200 G-VLAX "California Girl"(old colors).
California Girl was origionally made for Qantas as VH-EBI (#20921/241-1974). This is a version 238B. This aircraft was painted using reworked photos as textures. It is best viewed in 3D mode. The aircraft features round engines and fuselage, detailed 3D wheels and landing gear struts. Repaint by Jordan Witherspoon from Neil Cramers model.
