This is Ka-Bars's Warthog folder. By that it means it has a distinct shape/style clip point blade. It is not especially big folder but a nice EDC that you can clip into your pocket without worry you'll loose it since the spring is strong. They have made a straight bladed skinning knife in the past with the Warthog shaped blade they no longer make unfortunately. That one was really nice. They have a Warthog 6.75" straight blade knife, a sort of camp knife they include with the machetes although it is not a machete. They have this 3" blade Warthog folder which makes a nice pocket knife. The reason it is so inexpensive is it is made in Taiwan. All the knives I have seen coming out of Taiwan have been very good quality. I personally love the Warthog shape blades and wish they did even more with that style.Read full review

Knife exceeded expectations. Sturdy and well constructed. Makes a great work knife or EDC. High quality for the price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good value. Very happy with purchase.

Very well made knife for the low cost. Tightly assembled with quality parts that live up to the KaBar name. Blade itself isnt bad but doesn't hold an edge for long with daily use. Compared to other knives in the price bracket it is an easy choice.

Pros: This might be sharper out of the box than the bowie I got back from the knife smith. Liner lock is tight and secure. Handle feels secure, no slips and drops. Cons: A little heavy but that's being picky considering the outstanding quality Can I give it 6 stars?
