The book's contents are excellent overall, and its purchase is recommended. The binding and paper are sturdy and high quality. The text is written clearly and smartly, and is easily understood. The color graphics are excellent, along with the occasionally highlighted and bold text. Some notes of interest are included that keep it from being a dry toast creation. Lesson briefs and follow-up quizzes end each section to burn in the learning objectives. Discrepancies are minimal, and do not diminish the level of quality to any degree. They are mostly in the areas of spelling and contextual / compositional errors, but are easily overcome by understanding the overall context of the lesson, statement, or etc. In other words, most of them would pass a spell-check, but not a composition check. One illustration improperly places the plane in contrast to the textual description, and another illustration partially obscures accompanying text, but is easily remedied by simply reading through the sentence since it covers only a small area. I will, however, need to follow up on about eight or ten areas of the various lessons for clarification of the intended statements. That is not to say that another reader couldn't understand what was stated, and reflects solely on this reviewer. These few discrepancies are mightily outweighed, almost to obscurity, by the excellent balance of the production, and their almost insignificant existence should not discourage the book's purchase or the reader's confidence in it.Read full review

Great book for any commercial student out there. I used the King schools Cessna kit for Inst and will be using Jepp for commercial training under a 141 program. Full color pages are also a big plus.
