Rare. This model was produced by the Chinese manufacturer as a desktop display model. It was not commercially produced. This is a rare model of communist China\'s first domestically designed and produced fighter, the Shenjang J-81 ( or maybe the \'J-8\'). The model is injection molded plastic with a chrome vacuum deposited finish. Overall condition is \'complete\' and in good condition with minor loss of chrome plating (see photos). Kanji characters indicate this is a high altitude fighter produced by the company\'s engineering department. Length of the model is 9 1/2\" x 5\".
