VintageMINT CONDITION from many years ago 1970\'s, Amtrak RR Passenger LUGGAGE TAG with Amtrak original logo of inverted blue and red arrow. The inverted arrow was Amtrak\'s first logo when they took over passenger rail service in 1971. Please use zoom and enlarge when viewing items for details. Amtrak took over passenger service in 1971.The National Railroad Passenger Corporation, doing business as Amtrak, is a publicly funded service operated and managed as a for-profit corporation and began operations on May 1, 1971, to provide intercity passenger train service in the United States.
