For sale is a vintage Pacific Miniatures solid chromed metal Boeing house colors 727-100 airplane desktop display model. The model is in 1:200 scale and has a wingspan of 6.5 inches and is 8 inches long. The airplane carries no registration.
This model is solid, one-piece, chromed metal and comes permanently mounted to its Pacific Miniatures wooden base with a contoured square metal arm (i.e., not a flat metal bar or a round pin). The mould shows the NACA inlet on the belly of the airplane in the wing-to-body fairing and it also shows slots where landing gears could possibly be inserted.
Tiny chip to Pilot-side cockpit window decal and a trivial decal chip on the upper left part of the second 7 in 727 on the left side of the vertical tail. Small scratch on bottom of left wing. Otherwise, no chips, breaks, repairs, or pitting of the chrome evident. Model displays amazingly with its beautiful chrome finish.
