Vintage DeLong Sportswear, made in USA, satin bomber (baseball) jacket, men\'s medium featuring a Piper Warrior airplane and Mount Hawley Flying Group logo on front and rear. I believe Mt. Hawley is outside of Preoria, Il.
This vintage flying club jacket is in excellent, used condition as shown in the photos. It is lined and there are no rips or tears.
Measurements:Chest 23 inches from armpit to armpit.Length 21 1/2 inches from collar to bottom seamSleeve 34 inches from center of rear collar to end of cuff.
This is the kind of jacket Mike from the American Pickers would find and wear. Perfect for the aviation aficionado in your life. The Cessna airplane on the back is just killer. This is a super hard to find style in vintage or retro-clothing and this style is hot.
ADDED INFORMATION FROM A WONDERFUL ER: \"The plane on the back of the jacket is a Piper Warrior. I learned to fly at Mt. Hawley Airport with this flying club namesake. The jackets were only sold by the club in 1984 for members only in a very limited number. I don\'t think there were more than 25 or so made because the club disbanded after a couple years\".
