For the pilot, travel historybuff or air travel enthusiast, this is a vintage (printed in July of 1968),hardcover specification book, “DC-10 for Continental Airlines,” Report No.C1-807-1123 from the McDonnell Douglas Corp., Douglas Aircraft Division. Thepages are not numbered, but there are approximately 40 CARDSTOCK pages withoperating assumptions, specifications, performance, a Continental Airlinesroute map, airport and route analysis, diagrams and artwork. The art on thecover is signed JOHN RAMOS, but none of the interior works are signed. “Printedin the U.S.A. 8-746 7/68,” is on the back cover. The first DC-10 flights in theUS were in the Summer of 1970, so this book was printed 2 years before thefirst flights. The cover is 11-5/8 by 9-¼ inches.
