TYPE C AIRSHIP
This Type-C airship was used for reconnaissance, antisubmarine warfare, and coastal patrol. Plans for the Type C airship were started in spring 1918 with the aim of countering German submarine + mine attacks on Allied shipping. The airship carried a crew of six and measured 192 feet long. It could cruise at 45 MPH and go distances of 1,540 miles.
