Submitted for your perusal, Interurban Special Los Angeles & Redondo No. 20 by Ira Swett. It's hard to believe that the old Pacific Electric, was made up from even older predecessor railroads. The Los Angeles & Redondo was one of the predecessor roads that grew out of serving a port. At one time both Redondo and Santa Monica had long wharves to serve ships. Mainly sailing ships! Of course, any Interurban Special covers its subject exceedingly well. This is no different. Tons of black and white pictures, maps and detailed information. You like the Pacific Electric? Then this book is a must have.
The book is in good condition...except for the spine. As you can see from the pictures, the spine has started to turn brown from exposure to air and light. Otherwise, it is in good condition. After close of sale, this item will ship on the following Tuesday.
