I did keep a thin layer of lubricant on the blade to prevent rust etc. Always stored in climate controlled location.

Had question about the blade, it\'s flawless. What may come across as marks is lubricant. I didnt wipe it off for the photos. So yeah, it has been meticulesly maintained!
You wont find a nicer one. I recently saw one of these in similar condition go for $189 on here . . .
