This is a SCARCE superb LIMITED EDITION collector copy of Dining on Rails by Richard W. Luckin, one of the \"bibles\" used by railroad china enthusiasts. It is the hardcover version printed in 1983. This individual book is number 0729 of only 2,000 printed. It is author signed. SIZE: Approximately 11-1/2 inches tall, 9 inches wide. 320 pages. ALSO Included are a 7-1/4 x 8-1/2 inch color chart (use the color numbers in the text to see the appropriate color) and four separate full size \"Addenda\" pages of \"last minute discoveries\" and changes/additions, printed on both sides. CONDITION: Extremely nice -- the only way to tell it is not new is that it doesn\'t \"crack\" when you open it, and that its original owner pasted a bookplate on the inside front cover (well done). Clearly this book was loved -- very gently read and carefully cared for. IMPORTANT - Please note this is NOT the maroon color cover version that has a full color section added. The hard covers are plasticized and beautiful in rich deep cobalt blue with NO damage worse than any bookstore copy. Inside, the pages are bright and clean, printed on high quality, heavy stock that emphasizes photo details. There are NO rips, tears, dogeared or missing pages, NO stains or writing.
