The map is titled “to his Excellency William Trion, Esquire, Captain General and Governor and chief of the province of New York and this map of the country of the Six Nations, proper with part of the adjacent colonies is humbly inscribed by his excellence. He most obedient humble servant, Guy Johnson 1771.
