United States Lines - A favorite of doughboys sailing on World War I troopships - the fold-out "Aboard" photo souvenir. This one is circa 1918 from the U.S.S. LEVIATHAN.
Inside are ten postcard-size photos beginning with a distant view of the ship in rough seas followed a portrait while in dazzle paint, looking aft from the bridge, Promenade Deck outfitted with bunks, a troop sleeping compartment, Dining Room for officers, the galley or "making up chow by the barrel", engine room, cleaning the boilers, and a dockside view with doughboys hanging out the windows.
Good condition with wear.
