My homage to the EEV from the beginning of Alien 3
Printed in PLA it comes as an easy to assemble kit in roughly 32mm scale, looks pretty damn close when compared to the film stills!
Amazing little lifeboat when you read the background, it is quite clever and automatous and is supposed to get it\'s occupants to safety with a gentle landing on its tricycle landing gear..when not given a good kicking by an exploding Sulaco! I always thought it was supposed to crash land, albeita little heavy in the film, but no!
Great for in game objectives or just as a dust monkey for the shelves, hopefully get round to doing a crashed version some time soon :)
As with all 3d prints some finishing work will be required to get it to look tip top. I recommend autotek primer spray and model filler. After assembly give the model a good blast, you can be quite heavy handed, work it into all the nooks and crannies then allow to dry. it won\'t obscure any detail. light sand over then repeat, fill any larger voids with fine filler, dry and sand, its as easy as that to prep the model for undercoat and painting. It really is what makes a good print into an outstanding model!
