Airplane USAF Boeing B-52G Stratofortress Bomber 19" Desktop Model Aircraft

As the last variant of the outstanding Stratofortressseries, the B-52G is expected to have the best toys. A simple hint for this was that the airplane was quoted at around $9.28 million when it was introduced in 1962 but 36 years later, it was quoted at around $53.4 million. A continuous effort for improvement was the thing that drove up its price. The Conventional Enhancement Modification programbrought a hugechange inthe B-52H design. The strategic bomber was equipped with a greater range of weaponry, which included: (1) modified underwing weapon pylons, (2) the Harpoon and Have Nap, (3) the AGM-154 glide bomb, and (4) the AGM-158 JASSM missile.
Aside from armaments, the B-52G Stratofortresswas also one of the first aircraft to be powered by alternative fuel. On August 2007, the plane was approved to use a blend of the Fischer-Tropsch process (FT) synthetic fuel and conventional JP-8 jet fuel. Of course, the plane wasn't just all names and numbers; it performed even during the early stages. In fact, the B-52H set in 1962 a world distance record of unrefueled flying at 12,532.28 miles (10,895 nautical miles).
