\"A Century of Passenger Trains ... and Then Some\" is Jack Thode\'s history of Denver and Rio Grande Western passenger service. It is a much expanded and improved re-release of a 1972 softcover book with a briefer title and size. He had access to the D&RGW\'s corporate archives and was more qualified to author this book than any other person. Both standard and narrow gauge trains are covered. All of his earlier work is included here plus information on the finale of D&RGW passenger service to 1983, specifically the Rio Grande Zephyr and the Silverton, with many additional photographs, timetables and other data to tell the story.This 144-page, quarto-size hardcover book was published in 2001 by the Rocky Mountain Railroad Club.The book is in like-new condition with no damage - no dog-eared pages, no markings and no jammed corners.
