60s AIR FRANCE Model Airplane-BOEING 707-Travel 28" long x 26 1/2" wide x 6" tall.Total weight: 8 lbs.
DESCRIPTION:
Large vintage manufacturer's / travel agency / airline model airplane.
AIR FRANCE BOEING 707 Jetliner. Cast metal (aluminum I believe). Painted finish with decals. Heavy. High quality. All original.
This would have originally had a cast aluminum base for table display. The base is not present.
Late 1950s / early 1960s I believe.

There is a significant / conspicuous stress crack around one of the engine mounts. (The engines appear to have been cast separately and attached.) I am able to widen this crack just by pushing on the engine a bit. This area will require some sort of restoration or stabilization.
Other typical handling wear including: scattered rubs, scratches and tiny dings; minor stress lines / paint cracking around the other engine mounts.

Otherwise this model is in good original condition with no other damage or significant wear. No restorations / repairs / touch ups.
No other cracks or stress lines. No dents, bends.
