For sale is a vintage 1/48 scale Topping Precise US Navy Grumman A6A Avenger desktop display airplane model. The model is one-piece, and comes with its clear lexan Topping stand that reads \"A6A Intruder\" and has the Grumman logo beneath the text. The airplane carries no registration number. The airplane is 13.5 inches long, has a wingspan of 13 inches, and stands 5.5 inches tall on its stand.
Minor wear to airplane decals and chipping to the paint on the nose and left wing leading edge. Pilot and seat are loose in the cockpit. Left Bullpup missile has two broken fins; right Bullpup missile and pylon missing. Left bomb is missing one fin; right bomb has two repaired fins. Stand has a vintage repair of a break near the arm-base junction that was done with CA glue. No breaks, cracks, or repairs to the actual airplane. Please see all photos for details of item condition.
