Photo-Based Scenery Add-On Update
Certain highly-detailed scenery add-ons that make use of large satellite images may not display correctly in Flight Simulator X. Specifically, you’ll notice large rectangular areas that are black or dark blue, where the proper ground texture does not draw at all. Microsoft has confirmed this issue to be a bug in the Flight Simulator X terrain display engine. The Spitfire Dawn to Dusk Challenge 2006

XP-Simulation Works On X-Plane Add-ons
XP-Simulation starts new products series for X-Plane. They are sceneries with VFR features, photoreal textures and custom mesh for local parts. The first title is located in French Alps and depicts the whole area of Isère. (7000 sq. Km).  These sceneries will be compatible with the latest version 8 of XP-Plane (and version 7.6 with some modifications). Further 3D objects and seasonal textures will be added with free or pay updates. First picture of the G-STEP-AD
Flight illusion is releasing the first picture of the new G-STEP-AD. The digital altmeter has 1 needle to show every 100 feet, but the altitude is displayed on a digital display. The display has 2 large leds to show the thousands and 3 smaller ones to show the hundreds. In the lower right part of the faceplate hold the barometric pressure. (4 leds). The software lets you choose between the european or American way to display barometric pressure. Flight Illusion announces its price setting for the new G-STEP range. The smallest gauges will cost 110 euro or 148 USD, the most expensive gauges will be priced at 170 euro or 223 USD. The engine cluster is set at 985 euro or 1294 USD and the central control module, needed to connect the gauges to FS will be sold for 150 euro or 201 USD.
