FS5/FS98 American Airlines Boeing 747-123
10 Boeing 747-123's in passenger version have served American Airlines long range flights from 1970 to 1984. N9665 has been one of the last 747 retired, on May 1984, and here is painted as it appeared at JFK in May 1980. This is a modified 747-200afx which I have extensively modified into the 747SP. This is a true accurate replica of the 'Baby Boeing' as some call it. I have spent about 3 1/2 months on this aircraft, perfecting the afxs and eliminating some bleedthroughs. The flight model has been tested by an experienced 747-400 Captain (my uncle) and has flown the 747SP on an exchange program with China Airlines based out of Taipei. By Jason Brown
