FS2002 KLS Beech Baron 58 Alphen a/d Rijn, Netherlands
The KLS (KLM Luchtvaartschool, or KLM Flight Academy) uses this aircraft to teach pilots to fly multiple engine aircraft. The KLS is said to be one of the best and highest quality Flight Academy's in the world (lucky me =P). THis is the Beech Baron 58 made by Microsoft. TO be honest, I must say that this is the best aircraft Microsoft has ever made (it's a GMAX aircraft). But unfortunatly, this aircraft was only available with FS2002 Pro edition, but why can't Standard Edition pilots enjoy this too?. By Guillermo de Miranda

FS2002 Jodel D140 "Mouquetaire"
Base on the famous Jodels Two-seats, the Jodel D140 "Mouquetaire" is a 4/5 seats, developped by Délémontez and Lucien Querey, she was build by SAN near Bernay (France). Her first fly was made in July 1958, the 4th. 295 models were build (all variants : A, B, C, E and R), and some enthousists build their own one too. The 140C equiped with skis is one of the "Mousquetaire" of the Megčve's aeroclub in French Alpes. This modele has full surface animation, Complete panel, virtual cockpit, open canopy and cargo-door. FS2002 Airbus A-320 panel

FS2002 Grant Narrows and Rambo's bush base Pitt Lake, BC, Canada
THE larger runway at Grant Narrows has a 15 degree bend (blind at ground level: the corner needs to be anticipated by using the pair of orange marker cones as a guide & on take-off, care must be taken not to apply full throttle too early). The shorter runway is on a slope that involves an unconventional downhill landing & an uphill take-off (STOL planes only!). Both are bumpy, and require Holger Sandmann's mesh for the required effect (see below). A dock is provided down on the lake shore for visitors on floats. The landing strips are fictional, set in an area of wilderness on the shores of Pitt Lake - but only 20 miles from downtown Vancouver. The first Rambo film was shot in the hills just to the east in the Golden Ears Provincial Park: if you fly north from Grant Narrows you'll find Rambo's airstrip hideout just a couple of miles past the end of the lake - the real life location of a popular fishing lodge. FS2002 The DEW Line Scenery
This scenery was originally created for Timberwolf Aviation (www.TimberwolfAviation.com). It is meant to capture the essence of the Distant Early Warning (DEW) line of radar and communications stations stretching from the Aleutian Islands in Alaska across the Northern shores of Alaska and Canada into Greenland. The DEW Line served as the early warning system for North America during the years of the cold war. Many of the stations were built in the 50's with others added in the 60's, 70's and into the 80's. Most of these installations have now been closed. Many of the objects have been modeled from site photographs. Where possible, site photographs were used to insure that the layouts were as representative of the sites as possible. By Al Gay and Bear Baker
