FS2004 Evros photoreal GREECE
This is a photorealistic scenery of a relatively small area east of Alexandroupolis, Greece, containing (inbetween other things) a small portion of the river Evros'€Delta. The nominal resolution of the scenery is the standard (for fs9) 4.8m per pixel. To install, drop the 'Evros_photoreal'€™ directory in the 'Addon Scenery'™ of fs9 and activate it from within the simulator. Getting there: Go to Democritus airport (LGAL), takeoff RW07, fly runway heading, climb and maintain 4000'™. After clearing the first range of hills you'll see it. If that's nowhere near good enough for you, find a Greek dictionary and have a look at the map included in the PDF version of this document. Limitations: Too many. But the most important ones are (i) no night textures (but Deltas do have the habit of being rather dark places after sunset), (ii) only one set of textures for all seasons, (iii) my attempt to smoothly blend the various images making-up the scenery has not been exceedingly successful, (iv) no water textures for the rivers (this is deliberate), and, (v) the most interesting bit of the scenery, that is, the last couple of miles where the sea and the river merge, is missing (due to lack of images). FS2004 RAF Binbrook
Installation instructions - extract the zipfile straight into the root folder of FS2004 Activate with 'Add Scenery' feature in 'Settings/Scenery Library'. Use the Browser window which comes up to locate \Addon Scenery\RAF Binbrook. Double-click on its folder and then OK all the way back. Restart the sim. IMPORTANT ! - selecting RAF Binbrook from the list - typing in 'raf' will not find Binbrook in the list, you need to type in 'rab' and this will select 'Rabah Bitat' (Algeria), you will see then that the RAF Binbrook entry is nearby. The A319 program was launched at the Paris Airshow in June 1993 on the basis of just six orders placed by ILFC late in 1992 and the predicted better prospects of the commercial airliner market, which were certainly realised. The first A319 airline order came from French carrier Air Inter (since merged into Air France), whose order for six was announced in February 1994. Since then Swissair, Air Canada, Lufthansa, Northwest, United, US Airways and British Airways are among the major customers that have ordered more than 500 A319s.
