FS2002 Boeing 747-258F EL AL Cargo, Registration 4X-AXH
This is a 742 passenger variant that EL AL converted for use as a cargo hauler, utilizing the old EL AL livery. This aricraft is based as accurately as possible on the real plane with the above registration. Since this is a workhorse, it doesen't get washed often, so this one's a little dirty. Features full moving parts, steerable nosewheel, transparent windscreen, 3d cockpit crew, full night lighting and textures. Original model by Project OpenSky. The Aeropostale line was founded by Pierre Latécoère after the first world war in 1919, to allow the post to reach faster the French African colonies.
The first official flight started the first september 1919 in Toulouse (France) and after 1850 km and 18h15 flying, landed in Casablanca (Morocco) via Perpignan (france), Barcelona (Spain), Alicante (Spain), Malaga (Spain), Tanger (Morocco) and Rabat
(Morocco). The first engine used was a Breguet 14. In the following years, ''The Line'' extends southly and reach Dakar (Senegal) after Agadir, Cap Juby, Villa Cisneros, Port Etienne and Saint Louis.
In memory of the courageous pilots and mechanics which maxim was: the post must get trough (''le courrier doit passer'') , you can found here the BARCELONA airport.
