FS2004 Kenmore Air Harbour S60 on Lake
Washington, for Ultimate Terrain
Made using SceneryGenX build 61 (hoorah for that programme! downloadable
for free) by Roger Wensley and Jim Turner. For FS9 only. Kenmore's home
base is at the northern end of Lake Washington, northeast of Seattle.
The base is squashed up between a marina and a cement plant, and if you
want to know more about it then read the very entertaining book called
"Success On The Step" by C. Martin Faure, with a foreword by Harrison
Ford. You may already know that he is one of their more famous clients.
One of the lesser known pilots of a Kenmore rebuilt Beaver is writing
this. If you are happy with this then try my effort for Lake Union too.
The same difficult decisions came up here, like where do you stop once
you start? Or do you try for total realism and model each and every
building? Once again I compromised, or it would have taken months to do
instead of weeks. I have not modelled any buildings specifically for
this, but if there is a warehouse on a dock that is blue with a red
roof, or if there is a long shed that is steel coloured, then that's
what is there in this scenery too. It's all a bit like our Carp airfield
scenery near Ottawa where there were some 46 hangers; from the air it
didn't matter and was recognisably Carp.

FS2004 LTDA 2008 Scenery V2
City: HATAY Country: Turkey IATA code: HTY ICAO code:LTDA Airport Name:
Hatay Havaalani Antakya or Hatay, as its official name is today, was
founded in 300 BC as Antioch-ad-Orontes by Seleucos Nicator, one of
Alexander's generals. Antakya grew quickly to become a city of half a
million people and, under the Romans, became one of the main centers of
the Christian faith. The city survived a massive earthquake in the 5th
century killing 250,000 people. It was later fought over by Persians,
Byzantines, Arabs, Armenians, Seljuks, Crusaders and Mamluks. The latter
literally wiped out the city and it never regained its former glory.
Antakya was part of the French protectorate of Syria until 1939, became
independent as the Republic of Hatay for a short period and then joined
the Republic of Turkey on 23 July 1939.
