FS2004/FSX Myasishchev 3M-T 'Atlant' (atlas)
In the mid 1970's the USA began the development of a re-usable space transport system that soon became universally known as the Space Shuttle. The Soviet Union responded by launching the development of a similar system, known to generally as the 'BURAN' (SnowStorm). To transport the components of the Space orbiter and Energia ultra-heavy multipurpose space rocket modules to the Baikonur, Kazakhstan launch site, the Myasishchev OKB proposed using the 3M bomber as a transport\carrier. Engineering changes to the 3 'Bison-B tankers selected for conversion to transports included a 7 meter up-swept fuselage extension, twin end plate square vertical stabilizers, and strengthened out-rigger struts. The heaviest payload carried by the VM-T transports was the 'Buran' orbiter shuttle itself, weighting in excess of 100,000 lbs. FSX Float plane seaport - Float Repair of New York
Seaport Description: This is a fictitious seaport base located in New York. With no actual hard surface runways this scenery is designed for Float Planes and has a ramp to accommodate Amphibious aircraft. **HOWEVER**, some of the roads, one paved, around the hangers have been used for landing when no one was watching. You have to be careful though, the roads are short. The roads are illuminated by various means so illegal night landings are easy, as long as you can get your aircraft stopped. TWINN "ROTARY"engine just probrably the most beautiful vintage plane for fsx! A must have for vintage aviation fans The Caudron G.3 first flew in 1914 serving as an observation aircraft. It had above average climbing ability and was considered suitable for use in mountainous terrain. As the progressed the type was retired from front line service and used extensively as a training aircraft. The USAS procured 192 of them for use as trainers. The first 126 were purchased with Le Rhone 9C engines in November of 1917. The Remaining 66 were delivered with Anzani 10 engines beginning in April 1918. FSX Sopwith Snipe
FULL VC CUSTOM SOUND GREAT TEXTURES Considered by many to be the best Allied fighter in service at the end of World War I, the Sopwith 7F.1 Snipe was designed by Herbert Smith to replace the aging Sopwith Camel. Custom built around the powerful 230 hp Bentley BR2 engine, the Snipe wasn't much faster than the Camel but it was easier to fly, offered better visibility from the cockpit and had an improved rate of climb. FSX airport, Tokol (LHTL)
The enclosed file contains several BGL's which enhance the default FSX airport, Tokol (LHTL), which is located in Hungary just south of Budapest Ferihegy. Tokol was a military airfield and is now still operational as a general aviation field. The files included in this download "reactivate" Tokol as a military field with parking for military aircraft on the ramps and in numerous harded shelters as well as parking for general aviation aircraft. FSX Airspeed Horsa Glider
The Horsa glider was used by the RAF in it's WW2 airborne operations. It was bigger than the American Waco CG-4 and carried 30 troops vs. the Waco's 15. This is a FSDS v3.51 project compiled with Xtomdl into FSX (SP-2). It has the usual animations plus opening door, steps and tail cone. The 2D panel and VC are based on a picture and the VC has animated controls. A Low Definition model of a Handley Page Halifax is included for use as a glider tug. Instructions are included to make the Halifax the default tow plane. By Paul Clawson
