FSX KRLU Rock Lake Airport (Upper) Scenery 2010
Rock Lake Airport is a fictional bush pilots hideaway. This remote 2400' asphalt strip is tucked into a mountain in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Preserve, 150nm NE of Valdez, Alaska. It sits high above Rock Lake, and is a great mix for land or seaplane flying. KRLU features a small set of cabins and personal hangars, fuel pumps with the local airport bum ready to give a hand, a concrete helipad, and a view every bush pilot will enjoy! See if you can spot the local grizzly wandering around for an unattended picknick lunch...Jon
