PERCIVAL MEW GULL G-AFFH FOR FS2000
The Percival Mew Gull is already represented at FlightSim.Com in the form of G-AEXF in her 1970’s configuration and there is also a panel available made by Dave Haskell which would complement this model. G-AFFH never in fact existed but prior to the record-breaking solo flights to and from South Africa by Alex Henshaw in 1939 in G-AEXF, he and his father considered modifying the airframe to incorporate a retracting undercarriage which would have given more speed to what was already a pretty rapid little racing plane but the engineering problems were too great. Also reliability was all-important on the 13,000 mile round trip so XF retained its fixed spatted undercarriage. Today, 9th February, marks the 62nd anniversary of Mr Henshaw’s return to England having set records which stand to this day. By Chris Lampard

FS2000 Crestwood Scenery, Alaska
Crestwood is locates 55 miles from McGrath, Alaska, on a 270 degree heading. Crestwood has two runways. Both are grass over gravel and one is a "Porter only" strip. There is also a nice lake there with two cabins for a comfortable stay. There are four different starts to this scenery, depending on your needs. This scenery has four season changes, will show up on your map/gps and has easy install. Enjoy your stay at Crestwood!
