FS2004 1938 Ryan SC-W with two versions, U.S.
and Canadian
Here's a brief look at the history of the SC-W...Most of us are familiar
with the Ryan ST series of 2-place training and sporting aircraft. Their
gleaming metal fuselages, brisk performance and smart art-deco lines
caught the fancy of the aviating public very quickly. With the success
of that type assured, T. Claude Ryan thought it might be wise to offer a
fully enclosed cabin plane to the GA public. The new model would be
suitable for light cross-country and recreational use, as well as for
basic training, and generally getting from here to there as quickly and
smartly as possible. The aircraft would also embody even more of the
cutting edge metal construction technology than the ST. The prototype
was rolled out in the spring of 1937 and made a favoable impression
right away. By Steven D. Myers

FS2004 JABIRU B
Jabiru B, an Udated aircraft of the original first series Jabiru. I did
so many updates for this plane that I am coming out with an entire
aircraft, which can be placed in FS2004 with the older version and you
will have no problem accessing either one. This version is called Jabiru
B, while the previous version is called simply Jabiru. For those of you
that have downloaded and installed the second 'Model' of Jabiru with
wider wingspan and longer tail, that version in FS is called Jabiru 2,
as in 2nd 'Model'. By William Ortis

FS2004 Japanese Army Mitsubishi A5M4 "Claude"
The Claude was the world's first monoplane carrier fighter. It was a
cantilever design with fixed landing gear and an open cockpit. The A5M
performed well in wars against China and the USSR and was still the
numerically most important Imperial Japanese Navy fighter in 1941. A
total of 1094 were built. By Mike Huang

FS2004 Aircraft Hawker Tempest II, MW774
HF-X from 54 Squadron of the Royal Air Force in late 1945
This package includes a new model. The Tempest Mk II was probably the
cleanest radial engined fighter of the Second World War. The Centaurus
engine and Tempest airframe proved an excellent match and the Centaurus
was generally regarded as superior to the Sabre, particularly in terms
of reliability. The Tempest II, despite its slightly improved performance
and better reliability, never saw combat. Tempest IIs produced during
the war were intended for combat against the Japanese, but the Pacific
War ended before they could be deployed. This is a FSDS V2 model for
FS2004. It features 2D and virtual cockpit, opening cockpit canopy,
moving pilot's head and many other animations as well as lights and
automatic special effects. By David Hanvey and Paul Barry. Airfile by

Scenery Resized Environment Map Texture
Replacement "Environment Map" texture (Envmap.bmp) for FS2004.
Envmap.bmp controls the reflection effect in "metallic" textures.
Texture was edited to remove the "spinning" effect, now the reflection
is static. With static reflection it is "OK" to repaint interior
textures (chrome, leather, plastic, glass etc.) to make them more
reflective, as the dizzying "spinning" effect is removed. Texture was
also repainted to make horizon reflection at more accurate height, and
its sky reflection in more vibrant color. Now the metallic textures have
blueish tint. Texture was also resized from 256X256 to 128X128. Smaller
texture sizes improve framerate (FPS). TEXTURE ONLY. By Bart Dylkiewicz

Sport Blimp, Model 01.02
This is a one man twin engine powered lighter then air 'negative bouancy'
aircraft powered by ducted fans that swivel for unique handling
capabilities. This has been a dream project of mine for many many years
and is only one of several versions of which I would one day hope to
produce. Such a craft would be capable of so many tasks that would
require an aircraft to hover as well as well as have VTOL capabilities
and yet feature cruising speeds of 70 knots. Note that the envelope
structure is a lifting body. This model features swiveling ducted
thruster fans, working rudder, pilot with turning head. Model is done in
Gmax. By William Ortis, Lionheart Creations Ltd.
