FS2002 Convair CV-340 Frontier Air Lines
Convair, which is a contraction of Consoldated-Vultee Aircraft, was
located in San Diego, California, and produced the B-24 Liberator
and the B-36 Peacemaker, among other famous planes. The Convair-Liner
project started with the CV-110 prototype, but American convinced
Convair to alter it into the CV-240. Convair wanted American's order
for 50 aircraft, and took a large loss on the order which CR Smith
eventually allowed to be reduced to allow Convair to sell the planes
at a profit. Other US operators included Western, Pan Am,

FS2002 San Franciso Fire 2003 V1.0 Slurry Bomber Scenery
This package contains a representation of the current (April 2003)
San Francisco Fire, about 60 NM south of Albquerque along the Rio
Grande River bosque area. More precisely it is less than 5 NM North
of the OMN (Socorro, NM) VOR. This is the first fire of the 2003
fire season and so far only two P-3 tankers have been certified safe
for operations after the disasters in the 2002 season where several
of the older aircraft crashed due to airframe fatique. The USFS
needs your help! Load up your favorite slurry bomber and head down.
The fire is contained to the west side of the Rio Grande right now,
and you'll find fire trucks working along the western face of the
fire

This plane was developed at the end of WW2 to take advantage of the
huge 28 cylinder P&W R-4360. This FSDS2 model has moving parts
including folding wings, tailhook, sliding canopy and contra-rotating
propellers. It has a pilot figure and a specular color shine. The
sound and panel are aliased to the F4U Corsair and a .dp file is
